Parents Must Unite + Fight.
A new book, Parents Must Unite + Fight. Hackney Flashers: Agitprop, Work, and Socialist Feminism in England, edited and curated by Camille Richert is out now.

The book is the first monograph to bring together all three of the Flashers’ significant projects: ‘Women and Work’ (1975), ‘Who’s Holding the Baby’ (1978), and ‘Domestic Labour and Visual Representation’ (1980). It brings to the forefront the campaigning nature of the collective’s work, which denounced wage inequality and sexism.
The book includes English and French text. It was launched in Paris at the Pernod Ricard Foundation on 1 February 2025.
